Poitiers is a day's drive from the ports of
Calais/Boulogne or from Caen (5-6 hours). Driving distance from the port of St Malo
is around 230 miles
The route is an easy drive and doesn't take too
long. It's a great chance to see some of France on your way down.
Getting here by train
You can take a direct Eurostar service from London or
Ashford to Lille before joining the efficient TGV rail network which will speed you to
Poitiers from Lille in just a few hours. You can then rent a car in Poitiers before
heading out to us around 45 mins from central Poitiers.
